What you will do
  • Providing guidance from a D365 Solution perspective for business decisions on incidents and problems around aspects such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security. As part of this process, to identify technical risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
  • Delivering high quality business and software services to clients ensuring the implementation of best practices and based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configuration / customizations
  • Facilitating discussions with business and technical stakeholders to translate the critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of software products, customizations, and integrations
  • Providing current best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional or technical design documents.
  • Leading the release packages to any environment using Microsoft best practice and release standards, ensuring and gatekeeping any third-party solution packages are adhered to best practices
  • Leading Pre-Sales activities as required including designing and building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations as well as presenting to prospective clients.
  • Devising scope and owning estimates for sales proposals and statements of work.
  • Collaborating with functional and technical consultants to understand the client's business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Staying up to date with the latest developments, technologies, products, and trends.
  • Taking full responsibility for the successful project completion from solution perspective, driving technological innovation, and contributing to the growth of our solutions offerings.
  • Mentoring junior technical consultants and helping drive the growth of the practice.


What you bring to the role
  • Proven 10+ years' experience as Solution Architect leading and delivering end to end solutions using D365 F&O platform providing consulting services to enterprise customers.
  • Strong technical architecture experience and knowledge of best practices, particularly in integrating Dynamics 365 F&O with other solutions such as other Microsoft products and third party or legacy systems.
  • Extensive understanding of the Dynamics 365 platform, particularly in the areas of Finance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to discern when to utilize out-of-the-box features and when to opt for custom development or third-party solutions
  • Ability to successfully communicate complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences both with and without deep technical skills
  • Understanding of Finance & Operations architecture and best practices, with solid knowledge of recommended ISVs and how to include them in project implementations.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent consulting skills, including analytical abilities, written and verbal communication,
  • Experience in providing pre-sales support, including developing proposals and conducting demonstrations for D365 F&O solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of management.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $142,000 to $179,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
